Anna Winslow Palacios began riding at the age of 6 when she began showing on the hunter/jumper and equitation circuits. At the age of 9, she caught the polo bug. She began her interscholastic career at Garrison Forest School, where she was coached and mentored by Cindy Halle and Emily Dewey. In 2011, Anna won a girl’s national title with GFS. She went on to captain the varsity women’s team at Cornell University, where her team won two national titles, in 2015 and 2016. She received All American honors each of her four collegiate years. Elected onto Team USPA in 2016, she traveled across the country for playing and training opportunities in Sheridan, WY and Aiken, SC. Most recently, Anna won the inaugural Women’s Arena Open hosted at UVA in 2017 and won the East Coast Women’s Open in 2018. Currently located near Albany, NY, she is working hard to improve her game and build up her own string of ponies.
