About Olivia

Olivia ( Oli ) Uechtritz grew up playing Polocrosse; a fast paced tough Australian Horseback Sport often described as a mix of Polo , Rugby and Lacrosse on horseback. Her first official Polo tournament was in 2017 playing the Chicago Women’s Cup. Successfully playing since in numerous mixed and women’s tournaments, Polo has become Olivia’s complete focus, ambition and passion. In mixed polo since, she has played in multiple 8 and 6 goal tournaments in both Texas and Florida, including playing for Team Lucchese in the 2018 Texas 8 goal spring series. Women’s Polo has included tournaments such as the Houston Women’s Handicap in both 2017 and 2018, the WCT Finals at Grand Champions Club, as well as winning the inaugural NYTS Girls Invitational All-Star Challenge in Denver in 2018, and Playing for TEAM USA versus Argentina in the International Invitational World Series held during the Denver Open. Olivia has spent the past two summers playing in Wyoming, winning several competition’s as well as awards such as MVP, BPP, and best horsewoman. In September 2018 Olivia entered the French woman’s Open (Open De France Feminin) where her team won the consolation finals in a field of nine teams entered. When not playing polo her favorite things to do are anything that involves working outside on the family ranch’s or Polo farm in Mabank, Texas. Olivia has a love of working with green horses and furthering her skills as a horsewoman. Olivia is known for her distinctive, poised riding style and attributes this to her years of Polocrosse with her father as well as working with natural/Australian horsemanship legends such as horseman Guy Mclean, Scott Keogh and others. Olivia is sponsored by the Icon Global Group, Dallas Texas.
